Floriografia

A new creative floral endeavor from Perhacs Studio!

The term Floriografia, "floriography" in english, means “language of flowers”. It has been a means of cryptological communication through the use or arrangement of flowers for thousands of years in cultures around the world. 

We thought this was an apt name for our new venture into all things flora. We have always had the deepest reverence and appreciation for how nature creates the most beautiful and intricate leaves, branches, and blossoms in an infinite array of colors, shapes, and sizes. There is no more exceptional artist than mother nature. We aim to present flora in a way that inspires and creates meaning, emotion, language, and poetry.  Art, we believe is a way of using what already exists in nature, but reconstructing, or presenting it, in a way that creates a new, or different, perspective for the observer. Presenting the natural world with exalted perspective.

We have created two initial designs in the form of vases. One magnetic adjustable table top vase Adattamento Floreale, and one modular wall mounted vase, Fiore da Muro. These are the first pieces we are introducing from Floriografia in our product line, but just the beginning of what Floriografia is about. We seek not only to offer vases, but to create new and unique ways of melding flora with furniture, sculpture, and environments. 

We are also offering special commissioned objects, and collaborating with floral designers, architects, event designers, and other creatives as well.
